Jacques Rogge, previous IOC president, dies at 79

Rogge served as president from 2001 to 2013, overseeing 3 summer time Game titles and three winter season Games, as effectively as developing the Youth Olympics.

Sebastian Coe, president of World Athletics and former chairman of the London 2012 Olympic organizing committee, wrote on Twitter that he had skipped viewing Rogge and his wife at the the latest Video games in Tokyo.
